Things Gathered- Pennie Steel
Acrylic on canvas with overlapping burgundy purple grey yellow and muted green forms. Rounded and angular shapes gather densely across the surface like objects remembered in fragments rather than seen all at once.

From the series
The Space Between Things’
Inspired by the writing of Virginia Wolf, who’s work is a stream of consciousness, with only pauses between ideas.
